The Charities

The purpose of this endeavour is to leverage our differences for a common goal, to help to those who need it most. Charities must be chosen carefully to encourage donors. Charities funded should be:

Apolitical: one of our core tennants is to be apolitical ourselves. We cannot then turn around and support polictial groups or ideals.

Noncontreversial: nothing is completely without contreversy but we should aim for less contreversial. Planned Parenthood and the NRA are too contreversial.

Highly rated: we need to give to those that spend money wisely. They should have a B or higher on CharityWatch.org.

Able to handle the funds: The hope is to have large sums of money to give on behalf of our donors. Too much money to a small charity can cause more harm than good.
