That is us, the common folk of all persuasions, stuck in the middle.

Millionaires (or Billionaires) spend months on the campaign trail, begging for our hard earned money. We want to be involoved. We want to support our beliefs. Reluctantly we give.

They hire family and friends into their campaign, and cushy jobs are great way to reward supporters.

The campaigns turn around, using our money, and spend months bombarding us with negative attack ads. We get angry and depressed.

The airwaves are polluted. Sidewalks, yards and parks are filled with competeing signs, which then go to the landfill. Social media becomes more toxic than normal.

- this is not a good system -

Our differences can make a difference.

Polarity is the manifestation of two opposing principles, that is the definition. The outcome, what the manifestation looks like, that is up to us to define.

Politics + Charity = Polarity

The basic overview

Two teams are competing in a sporting event. The score at the end of the game is: 10-12, or 1000-1200. These different scores don't matter, it is the difference between the scores that matters.

Now imagine those points are dollars, dollars given to wealthy politicians. The score of the game can be $10 - $12. Or the score can be $1,000,000,000 - $1,200,000,000. That means 1 Billion dollars to the loser, 1.2 Billion dollars to the winner. Ridiculous sums of money to people already far wealthier than the average American. If these numbers are so large they sound absurd, think of this: in the 2020 campaign Biden raised 1.7 billion dollars and Trump raised 1.9 billion dollars. [NPR]

Why?! This is insane. Why not give the winner the difference and use the rest to benefit everybody?
